Step into the enchanted world of Broadway’s modern classic, Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Based on the Academy Award winning animated feature, the stage version of Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST includes all of the wonderful songs from the film, written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, plus new songs written especially for the Broadway version by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice.

Your will be transported to a lovely French provincial town where the beautiful Belle lives with her father – a dotty inventor. When her father doesn’t return from a trip to the local fair, Belle rushes off to find him. To her dismay, she discovers he is being held captive in an old castle by a horrible beast. She trades her freedom for his and the “tale as old as time” begins.

In this whale of a tale fast-talking Oscar is a little fish who ends up at the scene of the crime when the son of a shark mob boss is killed. Claiming to be a “shark slayer” Oscar takes on all the trappings of fame but when his title is challenged he finds that his little white lie has landed him in hot water. He enlists the help of the shark boss’s son Lenny who happens to secretly be a vegetarian and together they try to make sure that both of their futures aren’t all washed UP. Meet the Mayor Night 5th Ward
Mayor Tony Krasienko is pleased to announce the beginning of the “Meet the Mayor” series of events. These events present an opportunity for Lorain residents of all ages to meet Mayor Krasienko at various locations throughout the city and to express concerns, address problems, present ideas, and discuss any other issues of importance currently affecting the community.

Each citizen who attends will have a one on one meeting with the mayor. Also in attendance will be members of the mayor’s administration along with city Managers. The administration looks forward to these gatherings and encourages residents to attend. Please note that you must schedule your meeting with the mayor in advance.
